Disgusted with the Barns of Young Folk...

I've become very disgusted with the young adult section at Barns and Noble. Don't get me wrong, I love Barns and Noble and could spend days looking at all the books, but frankly there is just nothing interesting to read anymore. I've had to depend on adult books for reading. Which is great I love adult books just as much as young adult but I'm wanting to write in YA and your suppose to read what you write. But alas I can't.

I think I will give up on the teen section for now. All there is in section are chick-flick kinda books and the really out there-I'm copying the last best seller because I can't come up with an original thought myself, kinda books. Which are really lame. Ever since Eragon became a bestseller all these copycat books started popping up. Which it could be just coincidence but I'm afraid I don't believe in coincidences.

For now I will relive the adventures of Harry Potter and Eragon until the next book comes out. Which is really sad because both series are coming to a close and I love both series so much. It's rather to bad. The last two books of Harry Potter have gotten more intense and interesting with a lot more action, and each book is better then the last. But everything comes to an end eventually. So sad... Tear...

Wow Thanksgiving was something else. After the past few months I didn't know if I was going to be able to handle it. But everything went just fine. I had a wonderful chat with my aunt Becky. She is an extraordinary women. And she loves books just as much as I do. We have so much fun talking about our favorite books and discussing what we thought of a certain book we both read. We both gave some rather interesting thoughts and enlightenment on the Half-Blooded Prince.

Well I bought a new book the other day - Novelist's Boot Camp - which isn't too bad. I'm rather enjoying it. Although the military references can be a bit annoying at times, but quite funny at the same time. Interesting how that works sometimes.

The Start of a New Monk-ism...

I've just started on a new project that I'm finding very interesting and am excited to get started work on it. The project is a two part Monk (USA Network) episode that is getting off to a great start. Better then the past three Monk scripts I developed.

Mr. Monk and the Missing Teens - Monk is here to save the day once again when Jared Stottlemeyer goes missing. Monk must join forces with an unusual but similar person to save Jared and the other teens who have gone missing.

My previous Monk Scripts - Mr. Monk and the Altar Boy; Mr. Monk Meets NASCAR; Mr. Monk and the Frat.

I want to submit at lest one of them to the producers to see if they like one of them. Or if they like it and have me freelance something else. That would be great.
